As studies and experiences of construction industry clearly indicates, the current housing shortage requires a more sustainable approach than its generic meaning. Addressing the said demand from an area-specific perspective such as lower mainland, fortifies the fact that not only the new constructions should be built to higher standards but also the existing buildings could be remodeled, retrofitted and converted to desirable residences. Considering these facts, Colonnade Construction has implemented the BC Step-code standards, thanks to that our first step-4 house has already been built  which will be followed by the goal to build our first step-5 house in soon future. It goes without saying, In addition to new constructions, remodeling and retrofit projects are a market sector that shapes part of the company area of activity.
